"First time dealing with an urgent rodent visit - Love that they are open until 11 pm. I called Sunday night and luckily their exotic vet was in the next day… i walked in a little before 9 am, was seen around 9:20 and the vet visit was much more affordable than I was anticipating for a rat. Under $86 was the total for visit fee and antibiotics for a URI. Super nice staff came to say hi and hug my babies as well"

Today was a really stressful day for me and my pup Harvey, and their entire team went above and beyond from the moment we walked in. They treated my baby with so much care, urgency, and compassion while dealing his issue, and they made sure I understood everything that was happening every step of the way. You can truly tell how much the vet and staff genuinely care about the animals they treat. What stood out most was how they didn’t just do the basics, they went the extra mile to make sure my baby was comfortable and that I felt reassured during a scary situation. "I just rushed my elderly dog in a few hours ago. The staff here were extremely compassionate, the doctor is a beautiful soul, he showed compassion, empathy, sincere genuine car for my pup and me personally knowing I had to make the heart breaking decision to send my "Chance" over the rainbow bridge. The process was at my pace and they allowed me to sit with Chance before and after as long as I needed. Thank you Doctor (I can't remember his name I'm in a fog) for your kind compassionate care you provided me and my sweet boy Chance. To those reading this review I'd also like to share with you that Veterinarians and those who are there to care for our pets and support us during difficult decisions experience high rates of vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, burn out and so much more as much as other health care providers. So when you find a veterinarian that demonstrates compassion empathy and sincere genuine care it's truly a gift. On the flip side of that, When you experience the opposite try to take a pause not take it personal and remember they are likely surviving through their own trauma from their jobs and more. The last bit of data here to put it into perspective, veterinarians Have the highest rate of suicide amongst health care providers alongside dentists and more. I share this information because I teach on this and I want to bring awareness to the general population so that maybe we can also extend our hearts and hands to the healers who also need compassion, empathy and support. Thank you Doc for all you do and remember your self-care is just as important to sustain in your profession and continue to give to others what you gave to me and Chance today.
