I was very nervous about getting a root canal done because I've heard from friends that a root canal can get infected etc. I was also told Dr. Chen was an expert at root canals, (plus he's a so cal guy) Bottom line, I am glad I when to Dr. Chen, I couldn't be any happier! "I had a good experience at Summer Dental. My appointment started on time, which I appreciated — no long wait in the lobby. The staff was organized and the check-in process was straightforward. They addressed my dental issue professionally and efficiently. The dentist explained what was going on, walked me through my options, and got the work done without unnecessary delays. A few other things worth noting: the office is clean and modern, and the front desk staff handled check -in quickly. The hygienist and dental assistant were attentive and communicated well throughout the procedure. Overall, a solid dental practice. I'd recommend them and plan to continue treatment there"

"I don’t usually write reviews for dentists....but this place absolutely deserves one. I’ve been seeing Dr. Bonifatto for the past two years, and he is hands-down one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. He's incredibly knowledgeable, genuinely kind, and he always makes me feel completely taken care of on every single visit. You can just feel that he cares. Then… I had a root canal with Dr. Chen, and let me just say… WOW. I didn’t even feel the numbing needles (how is that even possible?!). He has such a calm, steady presence, checked in with me throughout, and went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. No pain. No stress. Just…super easy. Honestly, I’ve had more stressful experiences ordering lunch at Cafe Rio! Seriously, my visits with Summer Dental feel more like, lying under a cabana with a mai tai in my hand, it was that smooth. If you’re even slightly nervous about dental work (like I have been all of my life) this is where you want to be. These doctors are the real deal."
