"Came to Las Vegas from out of town and had an excellent meal at Kaiseki Sanga. I've had several kaiseki meals in Japan, including a couple of Michelin-starred restaurants in Kyoto, and this by far exceeded those being one of my favorite experiences. The dishes were refined and beautifully presented, but more importantly, they were flavorful and memorable. Highlights for me were the seared otoro, the Wagyu course, the house-made salts, and an outstanding yuzu ice cream dessert. I also enjoyed learning about some of the ingredients and techniques used throughout the meal. The combination of kaiseki with a sushi course made the meal especially interesting. Every course felt thoughtful, and there were several flavors and preparations that I hadn't experienced before. From the outside, you'd never expect such an elegant restaurant tucked away in a strip mall. The service was warm and attentive, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!"

"It’s in a strip mall, behind a door that tells you nothing, and it’s the best Japanese meal I’ve had in Las Vegas. Two Kyoto-trained chefs working the counter in front of you, a menu that changes with the season, and no gimmicks anywhere. It starts cold on purpose. Hokkaido uni over chilled chawanmushi with shiso, which is exactly what you want in August here. Then a whole spread of small things: kanpachi, sesame tofu, Biwa trout, chilled soumen, and ayu, the sweet fish you only get for a few weeks a year and basically never see in this city. Then the soup came out and we both just stopped talking. Hamo, the pike conger they score a thousand times by hand, in dashi with sweet corn. Best thing I’ve eaten all year, no contest. It builds from there. Three kinds of sashimi, clean and simple. Grilled tachiuo with eggplant and green onion, crisp skin and silk underneath. The A5 wagyu is a reasonable portion, which I appreciated. The sushi run at the end is where they clearly have fun: hirame, akami, ma-aji, negitoro with caviar, then anago and otoro, and a red miso soup to close it out. Dessert was matcha shaved ice and Japanese melon, which is about as summer as it gets. The service is warm without hovering over you and I highly enjoyed the information on each dish (thank you Rich). We asked for a table for two at the last minute and they took care of us like we’d booked weeks ago. It’s a small room, so give yourself some lead time if you can when booking. Would %100 come back here next year when I’m around Vegas with friends. Thank you to the whole Kaiseki Sanga team for such great memories!!"

"I was able to celebrate my mom’s birthday amazingly. Cannot ask for better. From the greeting to leaving, service was on top. Menu changes monthly, so be aware. Every bite was flawless, would highly recommend."
